Google Meet – Automatic Meeting Links

Prerequisite

To use Google Meet as a location, a Google Calendar must be connected. Google Meet links are automatically created via the Google Calendar API.

Enable Google Meet

1. Navigate to Calendar and connect your Google Calendar if not already done.
2. Go to Booking Types and create or edit a booking type.
3. Under How does the appointment take place?, select the option Google Meet.
4. Save the booking type.

What happens when a booking is made?

• A Google Meet meeting is automatically created.
• The meeting link is sent in the confirmation email to both parties.
• The link is stored in the Google Calendar entry as a conference.

Cancellation

If a booking is canceled, the associated calendar entry (including Google Meet link) is automatically deleted.
