What is Conditional Logic?
With conditional logic, you can dynamically show or hide form fields depending on what the booker selected in a previous field. This keeps forms organized and relevant.
Create a Rule
- Open your form in the editor.
- Click on Rules in the sidebar.
- Click on + Add Rule.
- Configure the rule:
- If – Choose the source field and the condition (e.g., “Service is equal to Consultation").
- Then – Choose the action (show field, hide field, or jump to a page).
Example
You have a dropdown “How would you like to attend the appointment?" with the options “On-site" and “Online". With a rule, you can:
- Show an address field for “On-site".
- Hide the address field for “Online".
Tips
- Conditional fields should not be marked as mandatory since they may not be displayed.
- Test the form via the booking page to ensure the logic works correctly.
