Custom Domain for Booking Pages

Why a Custom Domain?

By default, your booking pages are accessible at calentix.app/your-name. With a custom domain (e.g., appointments.your-company.com), you ensure a consistent brand experience.

Set Up Domain

1. Navigate to Booking Pages and open the desired page.
2. Click on Custom Domain.
3. Enter your desired domain (e.g., appointments.your-company.com).
4. You will receive DNS entries that you need to configure with your domain provider:
   • A CNAME record pointing to Calentix.
   • A TXT record for verification.
5. Click on Verify once the DNS entries are set.

DNS Configuration

Log in to your domain provider (e.g., Cloudflare, IONOS, Strato) and create the following entries:

• Type: CNAME – Name: appointments – Target: cname.calentix.app
• Type: TXT – Name: _calentix-verify.appointments – Value: (displayed in the app)

DNS changes can take up to 24 hours, but they are usually active within minutes.

SSL Certificate

After successful verification, an SSL certificate will be automatically issued for your domain. Your booking page will then be accessible at https://appointments.your-company.com.
